Fish Leadership Training - FLTP

This weekend was in deed a wonderful one, I managed to give a talk on the Effective Youth Leadership to aspiring young leaders of the fish youth movement. The approach I used this time was more less the emphasis that leaders are not born but are made. It all begins with the desire to lead...I shall post the details of this training later on here.

During the training I met members of Fish from Chepkoilel campus of the Moi University, this was a group I initiated back in 1993, and I was delighted to know that the group is still going strong 15 years latter.

The approach I emphasized to the Fish leadership is self sustainability and a stop to handouts and instead give training which empowers the youth to start getting into meaningful activities.

What a day!!!!

Well today was a busy day, i was not able to finish all I had planned to do....more so I haven't finished my training manual for the fish training tomorrow.

One good thing is the creation of the fish blog, that is wonderful http://fygroup.blogspot.com/ All the fish members have at least a place to converge apart from the E-mails.

What i still have to finish

1. A few exam entries for my centre
2. Intense revision for year 13 at Westpark
3. Swot 1 for WSC

Nairobi the place, you never get enough of entertainment, life changes completely after 6pm.

Bye I have to catch a bus to kisumu.
